MsMahmoo has replied to your comment on 6 Million Muslims convert to Christianity - Al-Jazeerah !:

@erksron God is not the author of evil: 1 Cor 14:33, Deut 32:4, James 1:13

God gives freely to those who ask: James 1:5, Luke 11:10
God withholds his blessings and prevents men from receiving them: John 12:40, Josh 11:20, Is 63:17

God is to be found by those who seek him: Matt 7:8, Prov 8:17
God is not to be found by those who seek him: Prov 1:28

God is warlike: Ex 15:3, Is 51:15
God is peaceful: Rom 15:33, 1 Cor 14:33
Exo 15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.
Here I am going to use the referenced version.
Exo 15:3 The LORD-H3068 is a man-H376 of war:H4421 the LORD-H3068 is his name.H8034
H376
אישׁ
'ı̂ysh
eesh
Contracted for H582 (or perhaps rather from an unused root meaning to be extant); a man as an individual or a male person; often used as an adjunct to a more definite term (and in such cases frequently not expressed in translation.) : - also, another, any (man), a certain, + champion, consent, each, every (one), fellow, [foot-, husband-] man, (good-, great, mighty) man, he, high (degree), him (that is), husband, man [-kind], + none, one, people, person, + steward, what (man) soever, whoso (-ever), worthy. Compare H802.

The word man used here is in referance to a song the Isrealites sang after God rescues them. The word man used in the King James version refers not to a human but rather to a greater champion.

Rom 15:33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
1Co 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
God is omnicient, omnipresent, and omnipotent. He can do anything he wills and pleases to do. He is the God of war and the God of peace. He rules with a mighty hand. He uplifts whomesoever he wills and brings low whomesoever he wills...He gives life to all that is alive....Every human that is alive now or who has ever lived is by his hand.

The verse with out the reference numbers is:
Joh 12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
Whom God Hath so blinded know not to seek and those who do not seek do not find, yet it is written also that: I am found of those who did not seek me....Once again a reiteration of Gods supremacy upon earth and all those who dwell there on. God selects for himself both by revelation of himself and and by causing to be sought after by whomsoever he will.

Jos 11:20 For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favour, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses.
Again Gods predominance. If all the people that oppose Israel in that day would have known to seek God then they too could have know to make peace instead of being annihilated as was Gods want to do to them for reasons we may never know.

Isa 63:17 O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants' sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.
In english we say that hindsight is 20/20. We see better if we can look back and remember it historically. I will say this is my personal belief...The Isrealites were a constantly falling away from God like troublesome little children. Yet God hardened their hearts so that they would fail.
Everything done yesteryear by God was done with his eye on the future. If the Isrealites had of not failed then what of today. If God is omnicient and I think you will agree with me that he is then he knows everyone and everything of the future today and what is to come and by what and why it will come. He is maneuvering mankind and the all events of earth for his purposes. Not your porposes, not my purposes: but his....

1Co 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all
churches of the saints.
Confusion and evil are two different things....

Deu 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are
judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

Jas 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

Jas 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
James was speaking to the Christians of the church he was writing a letter too. Yet is is for the edification of all Christendom.

Luk 11:10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Unless God causes you to not know to ask....
